Year 9 Options

During Key Stage 4, we believe that students are likely to be more successful if they focus on the subjects that interest them most.

This arrangement also means that they have more time to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding in those subjects which brings the highest possible achievement.

All students study a core of subjects, including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, Core PE, PSHE and Ethics.  Core PE, PSHE and Ethics are non-examinable. In addition, students will choose four other courses from a wide range of academic, creative and vocational courses

All courses lead to a GCSE or equivalent qualification
