EXAM Information

These exams are run by the Exams Officer and supported by a team of external invigilators. Dates of mocks are subject to change.
Summer 2026 Exams
The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 24 June 2026 as the ‘contingency day’ for examinations. The designation of ‘contingency days’ within the common examination timetable is in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom. It is part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for examinations. Students must remain available until Wednesday 24 June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
Results Day
20 August 2026 – GCSE / Level 2 Results Day
If you are unable to come in to school to collect your results and would like someone else to collect on your behalf, then you must email cdunn@avonvalleyacademy.org.uk to advise the Exams Officer who will be collecting them. Whoever collects your results must bring ID. Alternatively your results will be emailed to your school email address.
